Free TED Talks

2010 Free TED talks are now available.
Everything from art to DNA to microbiology to money to technology...to...well, there are 600 "riveting talks by remarkable people" to hear.
To take one talk, George Whitesides addresses "A lab the size of a postage stamp." He is a pioneer in microfabrication and nanoscale self-assembly. In this talk he describes how he is fabbing a diagnostic lab on a chip.
Expand your mind, enjoy the rush of intellectual stimulation, experience the thrill of learning new ideas, have a peak experience...listen to a TED talk, if only for half an hour on your lunch hour.
Aimee Mullins talk, The opportunity of adversity, is especially worth listening to...over and over.
TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with the annual TED Conference in Long Beach, California, and the TEDGlobal conference in Oxford UK, TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Program, the new TEDx community program, this year's TEDIndia Conference and the annual TED Prize.
